In our test rooms, it was able to clean the floors thoroughly and accurately and efficiently. It was particularly effective on rugs, however it took several runs to thoroughly clean some areas of soiled wood. Its LIDAR navigation is effective as well. It is able to avoid hitting furniture or running over power cables.
It's a little slow on the stairs however, that's to be expected from a compact robot that's designed to overcome obstacles. The only drawback is its mopping pad attachment, which was a challenge and didn't stay in the right position during our tests. It also lacks the ability of dealing with dust that has dried on which makes it more of a vacuum than a robot mop.
Despite these shortcomings however, it's a great option for those looking for a hands-off cleaning experience that can handle carpets that are bare or low-pile with equal competence. It has decent suction, which has helped to pick up fine dust and pet hair from carpets. Automatic recognition of carpets is a wonderful feature since it boosts the suction power to take on dirt that is embedded. It's also user-friendly and has a handy charging dock that automatically empty the dust bin once it's full. This is a real boon for those who live in flats.
